Careers That Are Built to Last

ReBoot Northwest wants to get you into a career that will last. That’s why we’ve chosen to focus our program on IT and manufacturing. These industries not only have competitive pay, but also have demonstrated both staying power and growth.

Manufacturing jobs in the area are growing at a rate faster than the national average, and employers project to need more than 40,000 workers over the next 10 years. With baby boomers nearing retirement and few young workers pursuing manufacturing careers, the industry needs new workers, fast.

Information Technology is booming within the area, with projected growth of more than 40%. In recent years, employers have looked overseas for talent, bringing in foreign workers to fill technical positions.

ReBoot NW has partnered with local employers in these industries to help put hardworking people into great jobs. The following charts identify the specific jobs ReBoot NW may be able to train you for and place you in. What do you think – do you see your future career?

You’ve made it this far. Take the next step – attend a ReBoot NW Information Session at a WorkSource office near you.
